We have an immediate opportunity for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Houston.

Full-Charge Bookkeeper

We are seeking a proactive, motivated and quality driven individual. We will rely on you orientation for customer service  and ability to respond quickly to management needs while maintaining day to day accounting records to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Perform month end processes and all the entries required
  • Receptionist duties: answering phones, greeting visitors/customers
  • Reconcile accounts: inventory, fixed assets, receivables, payables, accruals, prepayments, etc.
  • Perform vendor payments and customer collections
  • Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, Equity Movement, Footnotes)
  • Manager extensive intercompany accounts, management and billings
  • Perform yearly physical inventory
  • Management of cost accounting
  • Assist in managing payroll and benefits
  • Assist and interact with CPAs for all tax reporting needs
  • Assist in maintaining all legal documentations
  • Assist with record retention
  • Maintain company policies and procedures
  • Assist in performing HR functions (hiring, termination, time and attendance etc.)
  • Maintain records through filing, retrieval, compilation, updating
  • Prepare monthly banks and credit cards reconciliation reports
  • Purchase supplies, assist in general office administrative functions including answering phones

Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, abilities and attributes:

  • High energy, accuracy and ability for efficient tasks completion
  • Open communication skills, hard worker and team player
  • Self-starter that works independently is detail oriented, well organized and possesses the ability to multitask with strong work ethics
  • High School diploma or GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Advance computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and QuickBooks Enterprise edition and Sage MLM 500
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to pass a nationwide background check / drug screen and Core testing
  • Authorized to work in the US.
